The staff of Family Promise of Hunterdon County, Inc. are all dedicated to providing comprehensive, non-judgmental, compassionate services to families and individuals that have experienced or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

Angela Fields, M.Div., Executive Director

Reverend Angela Fields is a community leader, published author, Pastor, and social justice advocate! Angela has navigated change in the non-profit sector for nineteen years. Her personal and professional background has shaped a woman who is passionate about creating bold solutions to drive an equitable future for children, families, and communities. Angela’s areas of excellence are also in grant management, program development, relationship building, financial forecasting, and strategic plan formulation and prioritization.

Sharon Zimmerman, Financial Manager

Sharon has been a dedicated member of Family Promise of Hunterdon since March 2010. Sharon is responsible for financial health to include financial audits, local and state government reporting, budgeting, monitoring cash flow and ensuring compliance to make sure all legal requirements are met. Aside from a good spreadsheet, Sharon’s favorite pastime at Family Promise of Hunterdon County is taking a break to talk with the children and families we serve.

Pam Briant, Administrative Manager

Pam wears many hats! For more than ten years she has worked with management and staff to streamline processes and maintain efficiency, while answering calls, receiving visitors and responding to general emails. She also administers the homelessness prevention programs and the annual Adopt a Family Christmas program which serves over 70 county families each year.

Julie Hanley, LSW, Development Director

Julie is thrilled to have recently joined the staff at Family Promise of Hunterdon County. She has more than three decades of experience working in social justice-focused nonprofit organizations in various capacities including direct client services, program planning and supervision, grants management, and data collection. A presenting or underlying issue for almost all client populations has been access to safe, affordable, and stable housing. Julie feels fortunate to be able to generate resources for housing solutions in the county she has called home for almost 25 years.

Noemia Da Silva-Butka, Program Supervisor

Noemia is a dedicated and passionate professional currently leading efforts to provide support and resources to families experiencing homelessness and helping them navigate challenges and achieve long-term stability. Noemia brings a wealth of experience from previous roles with CASA SHaW, Children’s Mobile Response, and Prevention Programs, where she developed a deep understanding of crisis intervention, family support, and child advocacy. With a strong foundation in these areas, she honed critical skills in problem-solving, de-escalation, communication, and collaboration with a variety of community agencies and stakeholders. Driven by a passion for helping others and fostering positive change, she would like to continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout the community. This has led to her decision to pursue her Master of Social Work degree, further expanding her expertise and commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations.

Tiana Turner, Transitional Housing Case Manager

Tiana takes pride in serving the community and being a breath of fresh air to our clients and assuring them that we are truly here to assist them. Tiana strives to understand that life is not linear and may come with a host of obstacles, however individuals do not have to face them alone. Tiana holds a BA in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This background allows for Tiana to better empathize with individuals facing a housing crisis and to provide effective emotional support, as well as practical assistance to help her clients navigate trying times.

Tanya Hart, Outreach and Engagement Specialist

Tanya has over thirty years of experience working with the unsheltered community. Tanya’s passion is helping the under privileged gain sustainability.

Jessica Greene, Outreach and Engagement Specialist

Jessica works to connect individuals experiencing homelessness with housing resources and support systems. With experience in case management and community outreach, she strives to help clients move toward housing stability and self-sufficiency. Jessica holds a BSW from Rutgers University and is pursuing her Master of Social Work at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
